There's Nothing Quite Like Tyke Quest Tyke Quest celebrates toddlers' natural affinity for music. Parents, caregivers and family can share musical learning with their children from birth to five years old in a 45-minute class that both child and caregiver will enjoy. We'll expand your child's world using melody and rhythm, sensory stimulation of touch, sight and sound, and group engagement. Tyke Quest is on a mission to send young minds on an expedition of music movement and many of the world*s wonders. ![]() | ![]() Our Quest Sisters Lauren and Candace grew up playing music together, and today enjoy teaching as well as performing throughout the tri-state area. Lauren, a soprano accomplished in jazz vocals, and Candace, a sought-after harpist, have combined their skills and created Lark Music Studio, a private studio offering lessons in harp, piano, voice, trumpet, and theory. It was through teaching grade school age students that they realized the little siblings, though so eager to learn music, did not have many options. Tyke Quest uses music as well as dance and a unique sensory/education component Lauren and Candace call exploration that keeps little ones engaged. Children with special needs are welcomed, as the sisters have witnessed through their teaching experience the special power of music to reach, calm and develop the young minds of children with autism and other developmental differences.. All children and their caregivers, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles (whomever!) are welcomed in class. Tyke Quest is affordable and open to everyone. |
